Ann-Marie Youngblood

My love for baking started as a kid baking with my Mom and Grandmother. My mother became a cake decorator and caterer. Fast forward to 2010 when my son asked me to make a 3-D Indy car cake. I had no idea how to make a sculpted cake, but was willing to give it a try. That began my complex obsession with the sugar arts.

I am mostly known for novelty and sculpted cakes both in fondant and buttercream (my fav). My newest passion is structure cakes or cake with something unexpected.

Ann-Marie has been involved in many collaborations such as the One Starry Night Project, Sugar Spooks, Elegant Indian Fashion Cake Collaboration, Cakenweenie, and Sugar Art for Autism, to name a few.

Ann-Marie's cakes have been featured in Cake Geek Magazine, Cake Master's Magazine, and in the book: Artisan Cake Company's Visual Guide to Cake Decorating.
