My story is not unique, but I like to think my cakes are... Like many of you reading this, I am a Mum and I love it. I have always been quite at home in the kitchen and sweet treats are my favourite thing to make...and eat! I am a qualified graphic designer by trade, but left work to have a family. After being very involved in my local school and church for many years when my girls were growing up, I decided I needed to do something for myself. That's when the cake decorating bug bit me...hard! I found it quite challenging at first and thought how can I possibly make that?...but slowly I got better and grew in confidence.
I started my Facebook page less than 2 years ago, after entering a local cake competition and doing quite well. I love the joy cakes can bring. I love to personalize every cake I make so it means something. This is the first time I have ever done the same cake twice! But, I am so happy to share the knowledge I have learned with everyone at SugarEd Productions.
