Mio Shih is the founder and owner of Deliciously Yummy in Sydney. As a child Mio was exposed to the work of many great artists and her love of art and food followed her into her adult life.
Mio's love of fondant and sugar art began while making her daughter's birthday cake in 2013. Less than a year later, she started her own business, Deliciously Yummy Sydney. Mio's focus soon shifted from making fondant cake to creating cake toppers and modeling.
Early in her career she traveled extensively to take various sugar craft classes with some of the best in the industry in order to improve and expand her own skills.
Mio's heart goes into each little character and creation. Each creation is made with the utmost care and attention to detail. Now she travels all over the country to share her passion and techniques for working with sugar.
